KPMG arrives in PONT-ROUGE

There it comes! On August 5, 2019, KPMG officially arrived in the PONT-ROUGE district. Convinced of the potential of this area, the international firm – one of the leading providers of audit, tax and business advisory services – has decided to relocate its Geneva headquarters to the heart of this new business district in Geneva. Leaving its premises in rue de Lyon 111, the company, which is one of the Big Four, unpacked its boxes at Esplanade 1, where it has more than 3700 m2 of modern and bright offices, spread over the 9th and 13th floors.

“We early saw the potential for development of the PONT-ROUGE district. By choosing to move our offices there, we wanted to get closer to our customers (existing and future) but also participate in the synergies between the different actors of this developing district” explains Mr. Eckhard Vetter, Facility Manager at KPMG. Indeed, even if the infrastructures are not yet operating at their maximum capacity, various companies as diverse as Swisscom, Ecole-club Migros or Crédit Agricole are joining the ranks of this visionary project every month, that combine quality of life and prestigious work environment. In addition to its ideal location in the heart of the PAV, PONT-ROUGE attaches great importance to sustainable development with its state-of-the-art buildings labelled Minergie. “One of our considerations was to be able to promote soft mobility among our 250 employees” adds Mr. Vetter. Served by the Léman Express, a tram line but also bicycle paths, PONT-ROUGE offers exemplary accessibility and undeniably places KPMG at the epicentre of the new Greater Geneva.
